well as most of you know i recently aquired a slash!!!

and im a big fan of dakar rally/baja 1000 type long distance racing in night and day etc etc...

so what im rigging up is a semi scale long distance race truck with lights... spare wheel maybe some parts etc etc

as scale as i can make it!!

o and it also has to preform well because its going to be used alot!!

so first off a couple of preformace mods...

-I went with a black RPM gear cover (keep stock realistic look)
- and a set of proline 2.2 beadlocks with steel rings (scalish colors)
- and a set of proline 2.2 SWITCH tires!!

Plans for the near future are:...
-racing aluminum dampers
-BIG light kit for night racing
-Aluminum steering rack kit
-fans for motor/esc
-custom plastic box covers for motor and esc to keep dust water and dirt off.

Nice man! Should be a fun project to work on, and I'm sure it'll look WICKED once it's done. I can't wait until I can get some money and time to start something like this. The layout of the chassis is just so simple compared to our drift/race/rally cars, so it should be a breeze to work on. And, there's LOTS of space!
